To better address the learning needs of our clients NIS has recently set up an office in Shanghai, China and Brisbane, Australia. Having an office in Shanghai enables NIS to better manage the transition Chinese students into the New Zealand educational environment and the office in Brisbane assists in consolidating NIS pathways into many Australian Universities. Future development of NIS is expected to involve building stronger links with market representatives in Thailand and Vietnam.
Richard has over 20 years of marketing management / corporate consultancy experience in the financial and education sectors. He teaches and facilitates workshops in business and management areas. He has worked in both university and private provider settings in New Zealand and overseas. He also worked briefly as a central buyer in the food service industry.Richard's research interest is in the areas of customer care; retail management and workplace learning. He is a registered assessor (retail and distribution) for the Retail Iinstitute and a Business and Management moderator on contract to the NZQA.
She has teaching experience as a tutor at the University of Auckland. She has more than 6 years experience in teaching especially at graduate & undergraduate levels. She has a good command of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics and Computers.
Fawad is responsible for Managing and Maintaining Servers,Networks communication, PABX's, Work stations and project management within NIS and between organisations. His goal is to ensure the smooth operation of Communication networks, Servers, in order to provide maximum performance and availability for users (staff, clients, customers, suppliers). Fawad has over 6 years experience in Servers, network design and cabling, system implementation, Cisco, Citrix, Linux/Unix. LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, IPX, VPN, RAS, HTTP/S, FTP, Ethernet, ATM Servers, Routers, Switches, Gateways, Nodes, Firewalls, Unix, AS400, Novell, NT, PSTN, PBX.
A qualified trained teacher who heads all community programmes.
Jessica has a varied experience working in supporting roles within the education sector. She has been working in various support capacities at the NIS Christchurch campus since its inception in 2005. Prior to joining NIS, Jessica worked briefly as an office assistant for an education agency in Christchurch. She has also worked in the Export Department of an Import & Export company overseas

He has an employment background as a Work Placement Officer and Career
Consultant with Work & Income NZ and Career Services Rapuara. His
key role with the National Institute of Studies is to provide employment
placement support and assistance to our students. The overall aim for
our students is for them to have the ability to access employment opportunities
within New Zealand.
