Having these links enables NIS to better manage the transition of students into the New Zealand educational enviroment. With future development of NIS offices throughout the globe will assist in consolidating NIS pathways into Universities throughout the world. Code of Practice

The National Institute Of Studies is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Ministry of Education and has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code.

The Code  provides a framework for service delivery by all education providers and their agents to international students. The Code sets out the minimum standards of advices that are expected of educational providers with respect to international students. The Code applies to pastoral care and provision of information only, and not to academic standards.
